Bathroom Remodeling Contractors in other cities
Bathrooms are small, wet, and unforgiving. Most of the cost in a Long Beach bathroom remodel is buried behind the tile: waterproofing the shower pan, venting the fan to the outside rather than the attic, and getting the drain fall right so water leaves as fast as it arrives. Fixtures are the cheap part and the part everyone looks at.
The single decision that moves the budget is whether the toilet, sink and shower stay where they are. Keeping the layout means the drain lines stay put. Moving the shower across the room means opening the floor. Get a contractor to walk you through what is under the floor before you commit to a layout, because that is where surprises live in older housing stock.

Get matched with a licensed proA bathroom remodel that touches plumbing, electrical and finishes crosses three unrelated trades, which is the threshold CSLB set for Class B-2 (Residential Remodeling). That is why the contractors listed here hold it — the classification exists for precisely this kind of work on existing homes.
Each listing shows the licence number and links to the CSLB record. Check the status yourself before the first site visit; it takes a few seconds and it is the one claim on this page you never have to take our word for. What the register cannot tell you is how carefully someone waterproofs a shower, which is why references matter more here than on almost any other job.
What the classification does not settle is who is careful with water. A licence records that the state permits the work; it says nothing about whether a shower pan was flood-tested before the tile went down, or whether the fan vents outside rather than into the attic. Those are the two failures that surface years later as stained ceilings, and neither leaves a trace on a register. Ask to see a bathroom finished three years ago rather than three months ago — time is the only inspector that catches them.
Every licence number below links to its record at cslb.ca.gov, where you can confirm status and expiry yourself.

Licence first. References second. Reviews last. Why that order.
Get matched with a licensed proThese sit under the same Class B-2 (Residential Remodeling) licence, so the same contractors are qualified for them.
Work involving plumbing, electrical and finish trades on an existing home falls under Class B-2 (Residential Remodeling). A Class B general building contractor may also perform it. This page lists contractors the register records in that classification at a Long Beach address.
The register shows 9 at a Long Beach address with an active licence in this classification, and 237 across Los Angeles County. That count is read live from the register rather than stored.
It depends entirely on whether the layout moves and how quickly inspections are scheduled where you live. Ask each contractor for a written sequence rather than a single end date — a schedule that names the inspection points is a better signal than one that does not.
We do not know, and we will not imply otherwise. The CSLB register records licence status, not the insurance a contractor carries today. Ask for a current certificate of insurance naming you, and verify it with the insurer.
Plumbing moves and layout changes typically require plan check through Long Beach Development Services. Cosmetic-only updates may be exempt — confirm scope with them before demolition.
